endless waiting

I didn't hear from the recruiter on Feb 17th.  I emailed her to see if she had heard anything.  She said she hasn't heard, but was expecting good news next week.

Good news for who?  For her?  That her other applicants had been placed?  I'm sure she will get good news next week.  But will I get good news?  I doubt it. 

I am now browsing the hakwon listings, but have not applied to any yet.

While I have been waiting I was at least able to substitute teach several classes at the art center where I used to teach.  That made me some money.  I have also contacted some of my former customers who I told I was moving to Korea this month and said the job fell through, I don't know if I am going, but if I do it wont be till April or May.  I got a little work doing that, but it was kind of embarrassing. 
 
I'm still studying Korean daily.  Its difficult not having anyone to help me or practice with.  I mostly enjoy it.  but I study with the assumption that I will be going there soon.  If I'm not going all this studying is a waste of time.
